I wanted to contribute to the wiki a little bit to ease the load off of other contributors. I felt like I had enough knowledge of glitchless categories to edit the glitchless page a little bit. I'm not sure how I want to organize it either, so I want to see what it looks like after this initial edit.

m I want to test some changes to see if it makes the format look better.

As a result of the number of techniques banned in Glitchless categories, the number of major "tricks" is only a small fraction of the tricks in No Major Glitches and in Unrestricted categories. This means that control of Samus's movement is even more important than in other categories within Metroid Dread.

Primary examples of Glitchless tricks and sequence breaks include, but are not necessarily limited to:

  • Cloakless Water Ass
  • Adam Save Skip
  • Early Grapple Beam (Intended)
  • Backdoor Flash
  • Glitchless Early Ice (GEI)
  • Early Space Jump (not in All Bosses)
  • Early Screw Attack (not in All Bosses)
  • Early Gravity Suit (Intended)
